Rooftop decadence.
The name plays off the nine Muses of Greek mythology, daughters of Zeus who personified the arts, literature, and sciences. Tenth Muse imagined another joining their ranks, giving the restaurant a connection to Greek history while leaving room to create something distinctly its own.
For the identity, I drew from typographic forms found across Greek tapestries, ceramics, and carvings, translating that visual heritage into a mark that felt both classic and contemporary. The result was an identity rooted in Athens, but with the eclectic point of view of Ace Hotel.
The identity was fully developed and approved, but a change in restaurant ownership prior to opening meant it was ultimately never launched.
